In June 2023 we processed 87 applications from five townships for waivers of land value-added tax on the transfer of farmland: 11 in Jinchen Township, 20 in Jinning Township, 13 in Jinhu Township, 25 in Jinsha Township, and 18 in Lieyu Township. We worked with the agriculture administrative agency to strengthen the review of these cases in order to effectively prevent the idling or illegal use of the land involved in the transfer of farmland cases and to prevent land value-added tax evasions.
